Cost for the Introduction to DR or  3-yr Recertification class is $36.00
(Need to recertify every 3 years regardless of activation)
All skills classes are at no additional cost above the initial certification.     
  • 7:30-8:00 AM: Registration
  • 8:00-11:00 PM: Introduction to Disaster Relief (For NEW volunteers)
  • 8:30-10:00 AM: Recertification Training (MUST BE AN EXISTING VOLUNTEER)
  • 10:00-10:15 AM:  Break
  • 10:15-11:45 AM: Shower and Laundry
  • 10:15-11:45 AM: Spiritual Preparation (Part I) Cancelled
  • 11:45 AM-1:00 PM:  Lunch - $6/person if desired
  • 1:00-2:30 PM: Chainsaw Operation & Safety  Part 1 - Classroom* (Must also have Part 2 for certification)
  • 1:00-2:30 PM: Rebuild Cancelled
  • 1:00-2:30 PM: Spiritual Preparation (Part II)Cancelled
  • 2:30-4:30 PM:  Chainsaw  Operation & Safety   Part 2 - Hands On Training* Location TBA

*Participants in this skill class are encouraged to wear outside work cloths, lace-up rugged boots/shoes with grip soles, and bring leather work gloves.
